Unexpected emergencies such as a hurricane or the COVID-19 interruption certainly present challenges to the regular flow of teaching and learning. Of course, our first priority is the safety of you and your students. Once that is established, whether you are waiting days for a hurricane to pass or weeks for a location to reopen, you may be worried about maintaining academic continuity for your classes. You do have options for maintaining instructional momentum via D2L and Zoom during an interruption. You can access faculty support in one of six ways:

1. Schedule a one-on-one consultation with CTLE.
2. Email our CTLE team and receive a response within one business day.
3. Chat with a CTLE team member via Microsoft Teams.
4. Sign-up for one of our brief faculty development courses.
5. Join the Faculty Forum and post a question, request, or engage in a conversation with other faculty members.
6. Check out the faculty resources, contacts and support page.
7. Access our many teaching resources here on our CTLE website.

Zoom is built into every D2L course offering at Saint Leo. Classes can be held synchronously or recorded for asynchronous viewing all from your D2L course.
