National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipends

Summer Stipends support continuous full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two consecutive months. NEH funds may support recipients’ compensation, travel, and other costs related to the proposed scholarly research. Individual researchers, teachers, and scholars, whether they have an institutional affiliation or not, are eligible to apply. Awards will be made for $6,000 for two consecutive months. NEH makes an average of 77 awards per year under this competition.
