Welcome to Canvas

Saint Leo University is excited to launch Canvas as our learning management system (LMS) for all courses beginning Fall 2026. Canvas provides a modern, intuitive learning environment designed to support teaching excellence, student engagement, and academic success.

Whether you teach on campus, at a center, online, or in multiple modalities, CTLE is here to support your transition. We encourage all faculty to explore the resources below, participate in training opportunities, and follow the learning path that best aligns with your teaching responsibilities.

Course Migration Information

Saint Leo University is working to make the transition to Canvas as seamless as possible. All Delivery Master courses are being migrated from D2L to Canvas and will be copied to all live Fall courses.

If you have additional course materials, content, or resources stored in D2L that are not part of a Delivery Master course and would like them available in Canvas, CTLE can assist. Simply submit a help request ticket, and someone will work with you to transfer the content into a Canvas Sandbox course where you can review, organize, and prepare materials for future use.

A Canvas Sandbox provides a dedicated space to build, test, and develop course content before incorporating it into your live courses.
