No 3rd party integration (MyLab, MindTap, Wiley, J&B, etc.) or integration of Textbook and reading chapters

  • Change some Tests/Exams questions 

Major Textbook Update

3rd party integration (MyLab, MindTap, Wiley, J&B, etc.) - Updates to Assignments and Quizzes/Exams and gradebook

  • Content for new chapters in textbook   
  • New Module Objectives/Titles 
  • New Assignments - Rubrics  
  • New Tests/Exams 

Major Course Revisions

Includes a combination of the following: 

  • Significant changes to course content and curriculum  
  • Changes to program learning outcomes or course learning objectives.
  • Major changes to assessments and/or other graded items.  
  • Changes to student-to-student activities and interactions.
  • Significant updates to course materials, textbooks, integrations or technologies.
  • Changes that would impact program requirements. 

  • Changes to meet new accreditation requirements or industry standard  

New Course Development

This type refers to the development of a brand-new course for online delivery. It involves comprehensive design and content creation from the ground up, initiated after receiving approval from the curriculum committee.
