Welcome to the new course development process at Saint Leo University! CTLE is excited to offer you two flexible approaches to creating high-quality courses: the Self-Directed Development Model and the Guided Development Model. Both options are designed to support developing faculty’s unique needs and preferences as they craft engaging learning experiences for our students.

The Self-Directed Development Model is perfect for faculty who prefer to work independently, with the assurance of expert support when needed. This approach allows you to take the lead in designing your course while having access to on-demand assistance, resources, and best practices from our CTLE team. For those seeking a more collaborative experience, our Guided Development Model offers comprehensive support throughout the entire process. Faculty work closely with a dedicated team of learning designers and eLearning developers, benefiting from tailored course design assistance and regular consultations. Whichever path you choose, our goal is to empower you in creating courses that inspire and educate our students effectively.

Self-Directed Development Model

The Self-Directed Development Model offers faculty a balanced approach to course development, combining self-directed work with expert support from our CTLE team.

Guided Development Model

The Guided Development Model is designed to provide faculty with the highest level of support and collaboration in course development.

Textbook Update Process

The textbook update process is a collaborative between CTLE and the developing faculty that ensures careful consideration and implementation of new textbook information.
