The Center for Teaching and Learning will host Faculty Development Day for Spring 2024 on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:15 pm. Save the date on your calendar here! The event will be conducted virtually via Zoom.
The theme for the spring semester is “Rethinking Teaching in a Changing World.” Some of the exciting presentations that will be offered are:
- “Enhancing Student Engagement with Microsoft OneDrive Tools” with Austin Trantham
- “Pride & Preferences: Presenting Honors Student Research on Factors that Impact Student Enrollment and Retention at Saint Leo University” with J.A. Shoemaker, and Saint Leo students Cyerra Bailey and Ellie Cross
- “Whip Around Pass and Friends: Active Learning Strategies” with Patrick Sheridan
- “Google Earth: Making Connections with Problem-Based Learning” with Christine Woods
- “Classroom Culture and Student Engagement: What We Know and Can Do” with Renee Sedlack
- “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence as a Teaching Assistant: A Practical Approach” with Iona Sarieva, Kenny Embry, Valerie Kasper, and Tonya Mazur
