Get ready to explore the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence in the classroom! Here’s a sneak peek at our upcoming AI-focused events that promise to empower educators, spark innovation, and enhance the learning experience:

•  Wed. Sept. 13 at 2:30 pm – AI Writing in the Workplace: Practical Professional Application from a Creative Writing Graduate –  Hear from a marketing leader and Saint Leo Creative Writing graduate who uses AI every day with her team of writers. Learn how to use AI in practical ways to help prepare our students for their future careers. 

•  Thurs. Sept. 28 at 12:00 pm – The Center for Research is hosting: Utilizing Elicit AI as a Research Assistant The Center for Research presents a “how to” with pros and cons of the AI tool Elicit, which finds, synthesizes, and summarizes research articles.

•  Thurs. Oct 5 at 2:30 pm – AI Strategies for the Writing-Intensive Classroom –  If we allow AI to be used in classes that require writing, how do we still cultivate these same skills and assess their understanding? Come engage in a discussion about practical strategies for integrating AI into college classes.

•  Tues. Oct 10 at 2:00 pm – AI Sharing Practice SessionLet’s chat about what we’re seeing, learning, and doing with AI.  

•  Tues Nov 7 at 2:30 pm – AI Sharing Practice SessionLet’s chat about what we’re seeing, learning, and doing with AI.
