Using Mid-Term Feedback to Improve Your Course

Do you know what your students think about your class? How are they experiencing their learning in your course? Learn about their perceptions by providing your students with a mid-term evaluation.

Conducting an evaluation also gives students a voice, a chance to show ownership in their learning, and that instructors value their feedback. Asking students essential questions can provide instructors with important information regarding their course. Considering the feedback provided by students allows educators to make instructional decisions or adjustments throughout their course.

The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence provides reasons for using mid-term course evaluation, how to conduct an evaluation, a list of sample questions to ask students, and tools to implement your evaluation. View our Mid-Term Course Feeback webpage for more information.
