The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence welcomed faculty back to campus with an open house the morning of August 19th with much success. Members of the CTLE team greeted nearly 50 returning faculty members, including President Jeffrey Senese, to their newly refurbished space.

Visitors to the CTLE received a free mug (which proved to be quite the hot ticket item), a tasty Panera breakfast, and a few lucky winners who filled out a raffle ticket even laid claim to a tote bag filled with assorted goodies.

Faculty were able to ask their burning questions and get some answers as well as share their thoughts and exchange ideas for the new semester. When all the business had been discussed, guests were able to kick back and relax in the Center’s new and inviting seating area and catch up after a long summer break that, now that the fall semester’s begun, doesn’t seem quite that long.

Even after the initial event had long since ended, visitors continued to trickle into the CTLE for a few kind words, praise for the new website and, of course, to grab one of those coveted mugs.
