This July, the CTLE also offers the final three Courses for Teaching and Learning for the 2020-2021 academic year. Beginning July 19th, Applying UDL Principles and Guidelines in Course Planning – CTL 235, Collaborative Notetaking – CTL 123, and Creating Module Level Objectives – CTL 111 will be offered in a self-paced delivery format. Participants in CTL 235* can expect to gain an understanding of the principles and guidelines of Universal Design for Learning and how they apply to planning lessons, choosing materials, and assessing learning. For faculty who are interested in fostering unique and effective elements of collaboration in their classes, CTL 123 introduces strategies for planning and implementing collaborative notetaking in any modality. CTL 111 introduces participants to SLU’s practice of creating module-level objectives and provides opportunities to review strategies, assess examples, and create well-written objectives.
For these final CTLs of the summer, please register before July 19th. Faculty who complete self-paced CTLs will earn digital badges and points for the Faculty Leaderboard.
