In the upcoming semester, we can expect to see a lot of friendly new faces on campus; this includes virtual ones! The Simulated Experiences at Saint Leo team is excited to announce that upgrades are being made to the virtual reality software. These updated avatars and new environments will enhance student learning in any content area.
Many of your favorite, familiar avatars have undergone makeovers, now appearing more realistic. Many of the newer avatars available bring more diversity to simulations, including different occupations and ethnicities.
Faculty and students may also notice changes to existing environments and may have a chance to encounter some new ones as well, such as an assortment of brand-new hospitality, classroom, medical, and home settings.
