The Students with Disabilities Toolkit is designed to be a one-stop shop where faculty can find resources to build a deeper understanding of specific disabilities and identify instructional practices that can support diverse learners. The information in this section should not be taken as a prescriptive, step-by-step guide to working with individuals with any specific type of disability. Rather, this information is best used as a series of ideas, suggestions, and practices that faculty can modify, and integrate into their own instructional practices in ways that make sense given the content, course structures, and students they may be teaching in any given term.
The Office of Accessibility Services is committed to providing our faculty with up-to-date, relevant information. If you have requests for additional information or resources that you would like to see added to this section, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
