One of Cellini's best literary tools that he uses that distinguish his writings from others is his ability to get revenge on his enemies through humiliation and discredit. I like how he resolves much of his conflict through telling the truth or mocking his enemies instead of fighting with his sword. One of the things I like about reading what he has to say is that he is not afraid to use poetry as a weapon against his enemies in a form that is both witty and degrading. Unfortunately, his writings and language are a little archaic, but the message is still clear. Also, I think I like his Medusa the best. What can I say? I like the myth surrounding the work.
