I believe that every man, not just those of the Renaissance have an inner drive that brings them to acocmplish great things. Every person must have the initiative to want to do something or no one would ever do anything. I do not know very many people that choose to do things and not also want to do them and do the best they can. Whether they are doing this for their own benefit or to acheive social status they are compelled from within to move. Emotions move every human being to do the best they can. Without emotion nothing would be significant...in the days of the Renaissance or today.
