I absolute agree with Katie, that art is somewhat significant in science. However, paintings, drawings, and sculptures don't explain how and why things work or are the way they are, they just show an overview of what is seen. Don't get me wrong, I think art is a tough subject, but I definitely wouldn't put it into the same category as chemistry and biology. If I had to put it into another category, I'd put it into sports, even though that is still a far stretch but, fine art takes alot of talent, patience, defined skill, and practice just like any sport.
