I don't think that there are any true Renaissance men or women in modern society. Some people are closer to the definition that others are, but I don't feal that there is a true Renaissance person out there. Celebrites or politicans are not Renaissance people, they are just wealthy or famous versions of the people that surround us everyday. Most of the charitable work that they do is just so they can rasie their public image. I think that in todays society people are generally to focused on one or maybe two points of life. Most people are to afraid to change their perception of the world, they are afraid of change. And change is what being a person of the Renissance is all about.
