Arnold is more than just an actor and politician. He came from a very poor Austrian family and worked hard to improve himself (i.e. what being a Renaissance man is all about), learning English and eventually winning the Mr. Universe title here. His acting talent illustrates the importance for the Renaissance man to be throughly schooled in the fine arts, among many things. Though this doesn't seem important, he basically pulled himself up from the bootstraps and went from nothing to something. He is probably the ideal dream that American immigrants would want to follow. "If you're destitute, try coming to America to make millions." He did, and a good work ethic is critical for any Renaissance person; after all, how would someone become well rounded in matters of etiqutte, physical perfection, fine arts, and the art of raising a family? He can't be successful by doing nothing! He is an ideal courier.
