No one does know what would happen if we went back and did something over. Achilleus might have resolved his anger and gone and fight or he might have done the same thing. In a way when he prayed he knew that Patrokolos wasn't going to come back unhurt and that really didn't do anything but sadden Achilleus. So I really don't think that Achilleus would have done anything different if he knew what the out come of his decisions were.
