The relationship held between Achilleus and Patroklos is very strong, yet even though this relationship is so strong, Achilleus lets Patroklos enter into battle. If they are such close friends, shouldn't they enter into battle together? Why would Achilleus want to stand by while his closest friend fights a war that may take his life? Wouldn't Achilleus rather be with him to help him if need be? Even though Achilleus and Patroklos are close friends he allows his feud with Agamemnon to prevent himself from joining battle with his close friend Patroklos. In this one instance it is really hard to tell how stong the friendship is between Achilleus and Patroklos.
