I agree with the fact that Achilleus is destined to fall, but I fail to see the connection between tears and weakness. Achilleus's is crying because his lady was robbed from him. Grief has overtaken him, and he turns to his mother, who happens to be immortal. This does not make him any less of a warrior, and it does not show that he requires assisstance from the gods to get his way. Achilleus is merely trying to forget the pain, and asking the gods for revenge is his tool for doing so.
