Helen is not just the most beautiful woman of the time soley as regards to her outward appearance. Helen has a beautiful mind, body, and soul. She is the complete woman to be worshiped and loved in her time. In the book she is found weaving a great web. This exquisite woman can weave as beautiful things as her. and has an excellent understanding of how the world works. She understands the battles and the reasons they take place. I do not think at this point in the Iliad Helen has lost her touch; nor do I believe she ever did.
